This is completely new to me. I don&rsquo;t understand. No clue, really! <strong>I don&rsquo;t know.</strong></p> <p>Yet.</p> <p>Admitting you don&rsquo;t know is OK. More than OK, it&rsquo;s healthy.</p> <p>Admit you don&rsquo;t know, and:</p> <ul> <li>Others don&rsquo;t feel ashamed of not knowing either;</li> <li>Those who do know, especially juniors, get an opportunity to shine;</li> <li>Your manager more accurately sees risks;</li> </ul> <p>Not knowing is temporary, and <abbr title="in a healthy organization">will not be punished</abbr>. Learning shows growth, and should be rewarded.</p>
